Athelas Sinfonietta Copenhagen premieres Toivo Tulev's music

Athelas Sinfonietta Copenhagen and the Estonian Embassy in Copenghagen present a unique opportunity to enjoy new Estonian music.

At the final concert of the Estonian Music Days 2009 the Danish Athelas Sinfonietta Copenhagen holds premiere performances of works by Toivo Tulev and Poul Ruders. Music composed by Jeppe Just Christensen, Age Hirv and Tõnu Kõrvits will also be performed. The Estonian Music Days 2009 take place in Tallinn, but the preceding rehearsals of the Athelas Sinfonietta Copenhagen concert take place in Copenhagen.

In connection to this an open general rehearsal will be held at the Copenhagen Opera House's (Operaen) rehearsal venue on the 22 April at 18.00.

The composer Toivo Tulev participates personally in the rehearsal, Estonian Vambola Krigul is performing as the percussion soloist for the concert.
