Deporteret til Sibirien

This is a book about Silvi’s mother, who was deported to Siberia with her family. Published in Estonian in 2003 under the title "Sirelid õitsevad juunis", the book has been translated to Danish by Peter Kyhn and published by Gyldendal. The book will be sold in Danish bookstores from 10 September 2009.

Presentation of the book will take place at Kunstindustrimuseums Hall, Bredgade 68 and is arranged by the Foreign Policy Society and the Danish Cultural Institute. Opening words by the former Danish Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Uffe Ellemann-Jensen.

Registration is required no later than by Tuesday, 8 September 2009,  by e-mail info@dankultur.ee. Tickets will be issued on a first come, first served basis.
