Estonian artist Kalli Kaldes exhibition "Reflections" at the Estonian Embassy in Copenhagen
07.10.2009 - 31.12.2009
From October 7, 2009 the Estonian Embassy in Copenhagen exhibits Estonian artist Kalli Kaldes paintings.
Kalli Kalde works as a drawing and graphics teacher in both Tartu Art School and Tartu Art College. She has participated in exhibitions since 1988 and illustrated several books.
The artist herself explains the birth of her water-themed paintings as follows:
"For the past 16 years I have lived in Southern Estonia, Põlvamaa, in an old farmhouse by a little lake. The lake is the first thing I see from my bedroom window every morning. I like looking at the lake, every day, again and again. The reflections of the trees in the summer blue, the endlessly changing water patterns."

The exhibition is open for public on workdays between 13 and 17.
The paintings will be exhibited until the end of the year.
