At Estonian Embassy in Copenhagen
The exhibition "The Steadfast Tin Soldier" will be opened on December 3rd at 13 by Taavi Toom, the Ambassador of the Republic of Estonia in Denmark and Harry Liivrand, the curator and leader of the project and art editor of newspaper Eesti Ekspress.
In the year of Hans Christian Andersen's 200th jubilee prominent Estonian artists Evald Okas, Valli Lember-Bogatkina, Ülle Meister, Jüri Arrak, Regina Lukk-Toompere, Piret Raud, Laurentius, Marko Mäetamm and Kaido Ole are inspired of his fairy tale "The Steadfast Tin Soldier".
Estonian parliament member and artist Raivo Järvi will tell and draw about H. C. Andersen's fairy tales.
The exhibition is arranged in cooperation with newspaper Eesti Ekspress and Danish Culture Institute and will remain at the embassy until February 2006.
