Two Estonian exhibitions in the city of Odder

On March 11th, at 11 the Library of Odder opens the exhibition "The Wonderful World of Fairy Tales" with book bindings to the works of Danish author Hans Christian Andersen.

The exhibition contains 28 works by Estonian leather-, glass- and ceramic-artists.

The exhibition is arranged in collaboration between the Union of Estonian Bookbinders, The Danish Culture Institute in Estonia, the City of Odder and the Estonian Embassy in Copenhagen.
It arrives at Odder from Bornholm Art Museum.

The same day, at 14 Odder Museum opens a display of children’s drawings to Hans Christian Andersen’s fairy tales. The drawings come from a drawing competition, which was held throughout Estonia at Hans Christians Andersen’s anniversary-year, 2005.

In Odder, 90 drawings will be displayed as a selection of more than 1000 drawings, which originally entered the competition.

The drawing competition is arranged in collaboration between The Danish Culture Institute in Estonia, The Children’s Gallery Kullo, the county libraries of Estonia and The City of Odder.

The Republic of Estonia’s Ambassador to Denmark, Mr. Taavi Toom, will attend both opening ceremonies.
