Joint exhibition for Estonian and Danish graphic designers at the Estonian Embassy

Exhibition will be opened on November 29th in 2004 at 16.30-18.00 by Ambassador of the Republic of Estonia in Denmark Taavi Toom and General Secretary of the Danish Cultural Institute Finn Andersen.

The cooperation between artists from Northern Jutland and Estonia began five years ago. On the initiative of the Danish Cultural Institute 9 Danish and 13 Estonian graphic artists visited each other, worked in workshops of the partner country and collected new inspiration via common work. The works made during the project in 2000-2004 were exhibited at the joint exhibitions in Hjørring and Tallinn.

Today a portfolio has been compiled, which contains one example from each artist participating in the project. They were for the first time exhibited in April 2004 in Pärnu. Prior to this exhibition works were exhibited in Århus VUC.

From Denmark Leif Lemmiche, Gorm Spaabæk, Ove Bering (2000), Per Børge Maltesen, Lars Pedersen, Mogens Stenderup Larsen (2001), Anne Nørgaard, Lene Palm Larsen, Carsten Carstensen Dolberg (2002).

The exhibition will be at the embassy until spring.

The exhibition is arranged in cooperation between The Danish Cultural Institute and the Embassy of the Republic of Estonia.
